I'm setting up an employee night for co-workers and we want to use a public baseball field. Do we just use it or do we need to reserve it?

It often depends on the field, but, just to be safe, I'd recommend contacting your local park and recreation department for a reservation. If you can reserve it, that gives you one less thing to worry about. If you can't, then you should show up a little early to claim the field. Either way, it can't hurt to contact them.
